The German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), a federal authority of the Federal Ministry of Justice, is the central authority in the field of intellectual property rights in Germany. The office has branches in Munich, Jena and Berlin and employs around 2400 staff altogether.
Our brief
The DPMA has been involved with inventions in the field of football since its inception. For the occasion of the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany, the DPMA wanted to compile and present an overview of these valuable resources for the general public.
